Introduction

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology( DCRUST), formerly Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, Murthal is one of the best state University located in Sonipat. The University was founded in 1986 by the Government of Haryana. It was established in 2006 by an Act of the Government of Haryana, upgrading a 1986-established college.

The Current Vice Chancellor of DCRUST is Rajendra Kumar Anayath. The University is situated on National Highway No.44. The campus of the University has been developed on 273 acres.

Admission Process in DCRUST

DCRUST Murthal admission process involves entrance exams conducted by the university and national level entrance exams. The university also considers national-level exam scores. For getting admission students have to sit at the entrance exam for their desired course.

UG Admission

Most of the time for UG Admission mode of selection will be an entrance exam or merit. But their selection criteria mainly focus on 12th percentage or entrance exams. DCRUST offers various undergraduate courses like B.Tech, BCA and B.Arch.

PG Admission

For PG admission marks which students scored in graduation and marks in entrance exam will be admission criteria. In PG level they offers various types of courses. Such as Engineering and Architecture, Sciences, Management and Business Administrative.

• M.Tech admissions consider the GATE score, followed by a personal interview.

Library

The library has a rich collection of 54,000 reading books, 343 e-books and 101 printed journals. The University also has 19 Newspapers so students can get to know about current affairs.

The library at the University also has internet access and it’s open 24/7 so students can access it at their comfort. University have separate sections for reference, dictionaries, handbooks and databases etc.

Hostels of DCRUST

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology( DCRUST), formerly Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering also have dorm services for both boys and girls.

General Information:

• DCRUST offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls within the campus.
• There are four boys’ hostels and three girls’ hostels.

Laboratories

So for that DCRUST provides a computer centre for students along with international help books. Medical center

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology has a medical centre inside their campus so students and staff can use it if they are in need. The medical centre of the University has two permanent staff one is male and one is female. DCRUST Medical Center also has an ambulance facility. The medical center is called Sushruta Health Centre.

Bank/ATM in DCRUST
